A rare artist in that her way of life is inseparable from her music, Reachel Singh has chosen a life centered on spiritual practice, close attention, and the quieter signals people learn to ignore. Raised between Indian heritage and Dutch culture, Reachel Singh developed her practice through teaching, traveling, songwriting, and studying sound healing and spiritual traditions from the East and West. Her background as an educator remains present in the way she shares music, and latest release, ‘Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha’ is her musical interpretation of the ancient Vedic mantra.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Her outlook connects Singh with OMMM, whose work is rooted in spiritual healing, conscious living, and stepping away from habits that keep people overstimulated. The same sensibility runs through Singh\u2019s music, which begins with feeling rather than explanation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With ‘Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha’ she has shaped the mantra into a soft and unhurried sonic vibration, with her voice sitting high in the mix, and the chant is kept immediate. With gentle hand percussion giving the track a down-tempo pulse that doesn’t disturb the meditative quality of the song, there are also sparing electric guitar notes, which don’t detract from her voice, but merely add colour.Singh calls the chant a \u201cwashing machine for thoughts,\u201d a plainspoken description of how repetition can interrupt mental loops and make room for emotional release. The song builds without chasing a dramatic peak, allowing the voice, percussion, and guitar to deepen the mood gradually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forming part of a larger project Singh has spent three years creating with Vinay, whom she calls her \u201csoul music brother\u201d, ‘Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha’ is one of ten songs that have been written, produced, and recorded by the pair. Some sessions began with songs Singh had already written; others grew from music Vinay had waiting on his computer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha’ was filmed in and around New York\u2019s Central Park on April 23rd, 2026, the day after the 57th annual Earth Day. It began without a formal plan, with Singh and director Bruno Calvis having a few free hours that morning, and, instead of simply passing the time, Singh suggested they create something. As she moves through the peaceful settings, Singh appears radiant and entirely at ease, with a natural beauty and calm presence that hold the frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
