‘I Ride Alone’ sees Nuke The Soup<\/a> capture the experience of surfing, with the driving ambition of catching waves to the shore, and getting back up and going back out again, no matter how many times you crash. The track is accompanied by a music video, recorded live as the band performed at Pearlstone Amphitheater, Baltimore, back in October. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

With dual acoustic guitars drifting in and around the steady voice of Mark Davison, as he sings of his one of his favourite activities, surfing. It’s a beautiful testament to those who, like Davison, paddle out time after time, in quest of the perfect wave, before leaping up and riding it back into shore. No matter how many times they’re cast off by the waves, that determination remains, to find that one wave that makes it all worthwhile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I Ride Alone’ stands as a great introduction to Nuke The Soup’s ethos of independence, and their affinity with nature. Equally, the music video shows the band’s easygoing dynamic, and their magnetic stage presence.
