Daisy Gill’s vocals are powerful and emphatic, as she explores the strong themes in the track. With mature lyricism, the instantly catchy ‘I’m Not Sorry’ manages to deal with the subject matter of self-worth and setting boundaries around one’s emotions, as well as making a conscious decision to stop being a people-pleaser, and no longer apologising for just being yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I’m Not Sorry’ was written from a place of clarity, not chaos, as Daisy Gill explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This song is about knowing it\u2019s time to let go of the things that hurt you, no longer serve you and are holding you back. It\u2019s about finding your voice again after a long time of feeling powerless and voiceless. It\u2019s also my perspective of how if you don\u2019t change you can\u2019t grow and some people will be threatened by your growth.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

‘I\u2019m Not Sorry’ is the lead single from Daisy Gill’s upcoming second EP, which is set for release later this year, and the project will cover such themes as identity, emotional growth, and self acceptance. The new EP follows on from her debut, ‘It’s Not You, It’s Them’, and the singles, ‘Telephone’, and ‘Mess Around’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An up and coming star, Daisy Gill received the rare honour of a four-chair on The Voice UK back in 2023, with her stirring rendition of ‘In The Name Of Love’. This has seen her music garner more than 10 million TikTok views, and gained her support from BBC Radio 6 Music. Additionally, Daisy has performed at such prestigious venues as the Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury Festival, Liverpool Pride, and the BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival at York Theatre Royal, on its first-ever New Music Stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
