There’s a moment, somewhere between reflection and resolve, where ‘You’ll Land Among The Stars’ takes flight. It isn’t a dramatic lift-off or a bid for instant attention. Instead, The Gleeman’s forthcoming mini-album moves with assurance, trusting its songs to reveal themselves in their own time.

Dean Morris (aka The Gleeman) is releasing a record shaped by lived experience rather than industry fashion. Across its eight tracks, ‘You’ll Land Among The Stars’ feels considered, emotionally open and quietly confident. These are songs that don’t rush to make a point; they let feeling do the work.

Each piece occupies its own cinematic space, shifting between tenderness, nostalgia and hard-won clarity. There are glances backwards, moments of longing, and reflections on trust, love and endings, but nothing here feels sentimental or fixed in the past. The album’s strength lies in its balance: reflective without retreating, hopeful without illusion. Running beneath the album is a subtle defiance. A belief that creativity doesn’t diminish with age, and that songs gain depth when shaped by time.

This is not a record chasing relevance or reinvention. It’s the sound of an artist arriving with clarity, purpose and something worth hearing. ‘You’ll Land Among The Stars’ is a statement made quietly, and all the more powerful for it. Out on the 30th of January.
