From her 1997 breakout holiday single, ‘Put a Little Holiday in Your Heart’, to a joyful rendition of ‘Rockin\u2019 Around the Christmas Tree’, and heartfelt highlights from her ‘It\u2019s Christmas, Eve’ soundtrack, the album traces Rimes\u2019 artistic and personal evolution through a festive lens – one that shines as brightly as ornaments on a tree and lights up the season with warmth and nostalgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rimes captures a range of emotion throughout the collection – from a raw, stirring interpretation of Joni Mitchell\u2019s winter classic, ‘The River’, to a powerful re-imagining of ‘Happy Xmas (War Is Over)’, offering a refreshed 2025 digital mix of the Lennon\/Ono anthem previously available only in limited physical form.
