Set for release on the 26th of September, ‘The Way I’m Wired’ is the new EP from Surrey singer-songwriter, Tilda. Comprising five tracks, the EP sees the artist compress the last five years of her life into a sonic diary that is both deeply personal and intimate.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tilda has been making music since the age of 15, blending indie, folk, and alternative genres into her own personal style. ‘The Way I’m Wired’ sees her at most ambitious to date, as she invites listeners to join her in a world of shared solace and therapeutic outpourings.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vulnerable and ambitious, each track of ‘The Way I’m Wired’ serves as a chapter in Tilda’s journey of self-discovery, told by way of folky, almost pop melodies. Tilda’s vocals are transcendent and pure; on the title track she at times sounds ethereal, while being deeply introspective about how she is the way she is. We are given a look inside her private thoughts and ideas, and while it feels personal, it’s by no means intrusive, as she shares them freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joining Tilda on the EP are Jack Shepherd, who plays a soulful guitar on ‘Mind Of Mine’, and Johnathan Ogle plays harmonica on the title track. Meanwhile, Francesca Morris performs a delicate piano accompaniment on ‘Mask’, which also features Harley Eblen on strings. Eblen additionally plays on the track, ‘End Of An Era’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘The Way I’m Wired’ was written alongside collaborator Matt Luis and produced by Shaun Reynolds and took a year to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
