Regular readers will be familiar with Robbie Rosen x Coffeeshop<\/a>; the dream team brought together across the world by Rob Aster and iDreamology. Now, we get to share with you their thoughts in their own words, and their latest single and music video, ‘All That Matters’.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration is so cool – living thousands of miles apart but connected through Rob Aster and iDreamology. How did you both end up in this creative family?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marie<\/strong>: I’m very fortunate to call Robbie a friend. He\u2019s incredibly gifted, a music savant and as luck would have it, we\u2019re the two on this team who happen to live in the same zip code, so our collaboration began quite organically when I decided to have my songs professionally produced by him. We also started cowriting in our numerous sessions together and Robbie has a vast network of connections in the industry, and one of our projects eventually made its way to Rob, who truly resonated with and appreciated the music we had written. While Robbie was already familiar with Coffeeshop through previous collaborations, it was Rob who had the vision to bring our talents together. From there, the creative chemistry was immediate, both professionally and artistically-and the rest, as they say, is history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giacomo<\/strong>: It started when Rob Aster heard some of my work and reached out. He told me he connected deeply with my sound, and from there I became part of this creative circle. The crazy part is that Robbie was already working with him, so it felt like a natural extension of the collaborations we\u2019d already done. Beth joined in, and suddenly it felt less like a team and more like a family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie<\/strong>: I’ve been so fortunate to connect with these wonderful collaborators through mutual connections in the industry. It’s a small music industry world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rob Aster is called a “storytelling connoisseur,” running RRHOT LLC and iDreamology – what’s it like working within that creative ecosystem? What makes it special?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marie<\/strong>: Rob is a true musician’s musician-someone with an extraordinary ear and a deep, unwavering appreciation for music in its purest form. In an era where technology has taken most of the industry and shaped the sound of modern music, Rob remains grounded in his respect for the raw, organic essence of musicianship\u2014a quality that’s becoming increasingly rare. With a wealth of industry experience, he possesses the insight and expertise to bridge the gap between artistry and audience. He’s masterfully brought together this team that not only shares a collective belief in one another but also creates something truly magical through collaboration. Above all, Rob is a remarkable human being-and a loyal, cherished friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giacomo<\/strong>: Rob has this way of making every project feel like more than just a song\u2014he frames it as a story, an experience. That pushes us as artists to think beyond sound, and to consider visuals, emotion, and impact as one big picture. What makes it special is the freedom to experiment but within a vision that\u2019s crystal clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie<\/strong>: He is one special, creative person and I’m so glad he’s a part of our creative team!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie, you’ve got over 100 million Spotify streams – that’s insane! How does this collaboration with Coffeeshop feel different from your other EDM work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie<\/strong>: Thank you! This one feels very personal and special – I love that I was able to work with someone who lives so close to me (Beth) and someone halfway across the world (Coffeeshop) and bring this song to life together as a team!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coffeeshop, Beth Francos says you have this rare ability to “give the song a soul” with your future bass style. What’s your process like taking their songwriting foundation and adding that EDM magic?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giacomo<\/strong>: That\u2019s such a kind thing for Beth to say. My process usually starts with really listening\u2014to the lyrics, to the tone of the vocal, to the emotional core of the song. Once I understand that, I build the production around it like a frame around a painting. My goal is never to overshadow the songwriting, but to elevate it\u2014adding textures, drops, and dynamics that bring the soul of the song to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The track goes from gentle acoustic to this powerful explosion of danceable bliss. How do you two balance maintaining that cinematic feel while creating something that works on the dance floor?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giacomo<\/strong>: It\u2019s about dynamics. We wanted that cinematic build-up to pull listeners in emotionally, and then the drop to release all that tension in a way that makes you want to move. The trick is knowing when to hold back and when to unleash\u2014so the dancefloor energy never feels disconnected from the emotional journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie<\/strong>: It’s an interesting mix, beautifully done through Coffeeshop’s amazing production ability. His ability to fuse the two was incredible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You mention having a “meteoric rise” and “pushing the envelope” – what does that actually look like for you guys? How are you pushing boundaries in Pop-EDM?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giacomo<\/strong>: For me, it\u2019s about constantly blending worlds. Pop, EDM, cinematic influences, even sounds from different cultures\u2014bringing them together in a way that feels fresh. Pushing the envelope means not settling for the formula, but asking: how can we make this hit harder and<\/em> mean more? That\u2019s where the growth happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie<\/strong>: I think this song, sonically, is very unique. It has a ballad feel vocally, and EDM production, which is an interesting contrast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Everyone is afraid, but they don’t want to say it, so let’s do it anyway” – that’s such a powerful message. What inspires writing about breaking free from fear and hesitation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marie<\/strong>: That line holds a profound truth for me, because fear is a universal experience-woven into all of our lives in one form or another. So often, we hide it, unwilling to appear vulnerable and reluctant to confront the weight it carries. I wrote this song to express a deeper understanding – that in our fear, we are not isolated – we are united. We all wrestle with it, quietly, yet within each of us lies a hidden strength just waiting to be uncovered. The true transformation begins not when our fear disappears, but when we choose to act in spite of it. That courage-to do it anyway-is where meaning lives. The reward lies not just beyond fear, but within the process of pushing through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie<\/strong>: We’ve all experienced this – obstacles and triumph – and that personal connection to the theme is what helps us write from such an honest, authentic place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working with Rob Aster on the video, you’re creating this signature visual style. How do you both contribute to connecting those universal themes to what people need right now?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giacomo<\/strong>: Rob brings this incredible vision\u2014he knows how to tell a story visually that matches the heartbeat of the song. My role is more about making sure the sound and the visuals stay in sync emotionally, so the whole experience feels seamless. Together, we\u2019re aiming to create not just content, but moments that really connect with people where they are right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie<\/strong>: Universality is the most important aspect of songwriting, so it’s important to use lyrics and themes that people can resonate with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any final thoughts for your fans out there?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marie<\/strong>: Yes, first it would be to thank them for listening and allowing our music into their lives and may it serve as a reminder that although our paths are different, we also share so much in common – each of us celebrates love, laughter, and life’s small victories, just as we all deal with flaws, uncertainty, loss, and the fears that unite the human experience.
