Eddie Witz invites you there with his new video ‘My Island’. Shot on location in Jamaica, the video is simple yet profound: just Witz, his acoustic guitar, and the breathtaking landscapes of the island. Every frame feels like a breath of fresh air, a scene straight from a holiday postcard, a quiet moment of reflection, and a celebration of life’s simple joys.

‘My Island’ is a spiritual sequel to Jeff Barry’s ‘Montego Bay’, it blends roots folk reggae, cinematic soundscapes, and frequencies that speak to the soul. From Kingston to Byron Bay, the music guides you through island rhythms and moments of deep stillness, reconnecting you with what truly matters.

This song is personal, too. After facing total facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, Witz rebuilt his voice, his spirit, and his connection to the music that defines him. That resilience, that love for life, pulses through every note.

‘My Island’ is a call to step away from the noise, to slow down, to breathe, and to let your heart beat at the same speed as the music.
