New single, ‘Virtual Love’, sees ViennaCC go fully futuristic, as he tells a story of love in the digital age – with a twist.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In the past people had no choice but to go out to meet prospective lovers, but nowadays things are more online, with dating apps being the most popular way of choosing a mate. ‘Virtual Love’ is a lighthearted look at love in the digital age, where apps rule, and people aren’t always as they make out. The song’s narrator seems to have found their soulmate online, someone with whom they share the same dreams and passions, and, despite the warnings going off in his head, he gives in to the temptation of seeing the person in real life. The alarms were well-founded, as the romance quickly turns to confusion, when it’s revealed the love interest doesn’t exist outside of his computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the music video for ‘Virtual Love’, ViennaCC takes viewers on a fully-immersive, playful journey, into a place where the lines of reality are blurred. Our beautiful partner might just as easily be strings of code, numbers and symbols, rather than flesh and blood, living in a world of circuit boards, screens, and keyboards. Speaking about the video, ViennaCC said, “The challenge was to express a virtual love visually. The idea came with the line “Virtual love in my computer”. So I placed my lovely lady inside a computer”. ViennaCC sings alongside the computer generated women, briding the gap between the virtual and the real, and poses the question: is modern romance real, or is it simply a pixelated fantasy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
