The clip is fun and playful, showing the pair in various situations, such as hunting for treasure by digging holes on the beach in the rain, driving around in a golf cart, and singing and playing guitar, to an audience including a human skeleton.

‘GYB’ got its inspiration from a real life story of a friend who was stuck in a situationship with a guy who needed a wake-up call. Speaking about the track, the band says,

“Tony’s composition came to him swiftly, and the lyrics were a fun journey, just like creating the whole song.”

Since the release of ‘GYB’, Laughing Cats have followed it up with a further 4 tracks, including ‘Love On Fire’, released this month.

Watch the music video for ‘GYB’ below, and find out more about Laughing Cats and their music online on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Spotify, and Apple Music.

Released on October 25, 2024, ‘GYB’ is the debut single from Laughing Cats’ album, ‘Funny Money’.

Released on October 25, 2024, 'GYB' is the debut single from Laughing Cats' album, 'Funny Money'.
