We can hardly believe it, but it’s been three years since Australian-European quintet Parcels released their second album, the double disc, ‘Day\/Night’. Now they’ve returned, with the band picking up right where they left off, with the gorgeously sleek and shiny, ‘Leaveyourlove’.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Filled with danceable beats, funky guitar, and slinky bass, as well as their trademark group vocals, ‘Leaveyourlove’ is irresistible, their harmonies are distinctive, and three members are instantly recognisable when they take their solos: multi-instrumentalist Patrick Hetherton on one verse, guitarist Jules Crommelin on another, and bassist Noah Hill to finish up Drummer Toto Serret and pianist Louie Swain aren’t left out either, as they bring their powerful support vocals to the fore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parcels haven’t been resting on their laurels since the release of ‘Day\/Night’. They’ve amassed millions of streams for their tracks, and as many views for their scintillating videos, while appearing on tv shows everywhere, touring the world, and winning over fans wherever they laid their respective hats. This summer they also headlined a show at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, and they’ve been accruing rave reviews along the way as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new music video for ‘Leaveyourlove’, directed by Alexandra Thurmond, is enticing and captivating, as the five band members do what they do best, making music in the recording studio. They’re each captured with their distinctive personalities evident, as they’re completely lost in the moment, yet perfectly secure in their existence. It’s a group project where each member is as important as everyone else, and, if this is the first time you’ve encountered Parcels, then we know it won’t be your last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
