The son of a preacher born in West Virginia, and growing up in North Carolina, Mike Teezy grew up with God in his life every step of the way. New single, ‘NEW LEAF (Turning The Page)’ is the complimentary release to his hit, ‘I FEEL GOOD<\/a>‘.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Setting the tone for his latest artistic journey, Mike Teezy’s latest release builds off beats from UK Producer, Joshuah Matthew Wiehahn, to which Teezy has added layers of catchy melodies and soulful harmonies. He’s paired this with his heartfelt lyrics, as he encourages listeners to “turn over a new leaf”, and dive headfirst into a God-led life, starting a new chapter that values the Lord above all else, despite the ups and downs of the past. He’s been through it all, and he knows the score; now he wants others to join in the blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘NEW LEAF (Turning The Page)’, directed by Will Thomas, takes a similar cinematic approach to ‘I FEEL GOOD’, but, rather than the summery choreography of the latter, instead goes with a neon underground dance party, giving Teezy the opportunity to showcase his talents as a rapper and dancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teezy is dressed in a white suit, an homage to his fave, Michael Jackson, and he dances without losing sight of what’s most important in his life, the Word of God. With a lively energy and an infectious rhythm, ‘NEW LEAF’ will have listeners tuning in and having the time of their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
