Shweta Harve and Dario Cei explore the hustle and bustle of life with new single, ‘Why So Busy?’ The pair combined their remarkable talents – Shweta writing the lyrics, and Dario composing the music – in this new release that aims to inspire listeners to slow down and enjoy life a little more.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Shweta Harve, originally from India but now living in Texas, creates songs that utilise powerful storytelling which resonate with an international audience. In 2022 Shweta set out on a personal journey of healing, following the death of her mother, seeking a like-minded expressional musician to collaborate with. She found Italian composer, Dario Cei<\/a>, on an online marketplace for freelance music-making services, and the pair decided to join forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With impressive talent as a composer and instrumentalist, Cei’s skills perfectly complement Harve’s introspective storytelling and purpose-driven vision. The pair began making soothing instrumental music and chants designed for healing, adding a personal touch into their creations, inspired by the likes of U2, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, among others. They incorporate hints of progressive rock, pop rock, and folk in their music, while maintaining their own unique expression. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shweta and Dario’s first single,\u00a0‘Who Are You<\/a>‘, saw them collaborate with poet Jay Krishnan<\/a>, to great acclaim, topping both the World Indie Radio charts and the Euro Indie Radio charts. Buoyed by their success, their new single, ‘Why So Busy?’, questions the illusion of productivity, and encourages listeners to take a moment to stop and smell the roses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Why So Busy?’ was written by Harve, who takes the lead vocals, while Cei composed the music, and provides backing vocals. The track contains infectious acoustic guitar, soulful harmonies, and melodic piano, all supporting smooth vocals. The track is a touching tribute to Shweta’s late mother, Sheela, who loved to sing, and inspired her daughter to pursue a music career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘Why So Busy?’ sees Harve and Cei on a video call, with people joining from all over the world. They look for all intents and purposes to be right next to each other on the screen, but the reality is that they couldn’t be further apart if they tried. Trading impassioned song lines, the pair enact a love story, with Harve reaching out to her loved one, unable to reach him; he responds with “I’m too busy”. Visuals of everyday life pan out as stressed workers do their best just to get by – something which many of us will relate to. Harve implores them to \u201cend the call\u201d, put the devices away, and start living outside the screen. \u201cHow can you learn to truly be in the moment?\u201d she declares. \u201cLearn to question the value of constant hustle. Slow down, rethink how you use your time, and find that balance in your own life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
