Christian artist Krystin Kay created ‘Say It Now’ during a moment of quiet reflection in her Atlanta studio. She was having a period of waiting and stillness, and during this time she felt compelled to pick up her guitar, and write the song, expressing the simple, yet powerful message, “just say what you have to say”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lyrics of ‘Say It Now’ reflect the experiences we all have in common, of waiting, and of unfulfilled expectations, but ultimately, they express the belief that everything has a purpose, and is all a part of God’s plan. ‘Through this spontaneous and ‘Say It Now’ is incredibly authentic and thoroughly relatable, as Krystin encourages her listeners to speak their truth, and be bold in living out God’s purpose for their lives, despite all challenges, and the opinions of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Krystin Kay’s approach to her musical career is summed up best in the quote,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m not an artist, I’m just a girl who likes to write songs and sing them sometimes.”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Starting at the age of five, Krystin would sing covers of Christian songs, which her family then uploaded to YouTube. This led her to regular performances at local churches and events in her hometown in Georgia, and by the time she was eight, Krystin was writing her own songs, with the recording of her first original song, ‘In All Seasons’, following when she was fourteen. Krystin balanced her passion for music with other interests, but during the Covid 19 Pandemic she made the decision to solely follow music as a career, based on the deep calling she felt to use her gifts as an inspiration to others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Krystin released her debut album, ‘Hope Remains’, in 2022, embracing the artist name of Krystin Kay. This was followed by the release of ‘Out Of Every Place’, a song which highlighted her fresh country\/folk sound, setting her apart from the usual Christian music sound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New album, ‘Say It Now’, reflects her personal experiences and faith journey through a heartfelt collection of songs, and Krystin Kay hopes with them to inspire others, especially young people, to follow the path God has laid out for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
