Ben E. Davis<\/a>‘s powerful voice and songwriting talent has certainly taken him places already but he’s no intention of stopping anytime soon. He’s re-released his vibrant single, ‘Mind Games’, and paired it with a music video, directed by David Molyneux, which vividly depicts the essence of three iconic eras – the swinging 60s, the opulent 1920s, and the refinement of the Georgian 1800s.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘Mind Games’ co-stars the charismatic Bernard Bullen, best known for his roles in Telemundo’s Betty en NY and Disney+’s live-action series The Mandalorian. Bullen plays Ben E. Davis’s love interest, and brings an intense angle to the storyline, which sees the pair reborn in different time periods, and having to deal with the expression of their love and the social restrictions of each era. Each period is exquisitely detailed, viewers pulled into a visual spectacle, enhancing the song’s timeless themes of romantic confusion and mixed signals. Ben appears at times in a straitjacket, representing his inner turmoil, and by the end, he’s escaped its bounds, symbolic of his ultimate freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Mind Games’ was born from a creative collaboration with LA-based songwriter and co-producer Ulf Anneken, and immediately listeners are immersed in the exhilarating highs and perplexing lows of romantic entanglements. With cleverly crafted lyrics capturing the frustration and amusement of mixed signals in love, as well as an irresistibly catchy chorus, the track has been taken to new heights when acclaimed producer Joe Rodwell, known for his exceptional work on the hit Netflix series Bridgerton. Rodwell joined forces with Ben in London, ensuring that ‘Mind Games’ will be the belle of the ball this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben is set to release ‘American Boy In London’ this year, co-written with Sting, offering a fresh take on the classic, ‘Englishman In New York’.
