There’s one thing Chicago artist Dave Luv has, and that’s flow. The brilliant verses of his latest single, ‘Stunna’, just pour out of him, and with the smoothness of his voice and the effortlessness of his delivery, he’s able to convey to his audience exactly what he’s wanting to say, with the absolute confidence of a master.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

‘Stunna’ follows on from Dave Luv’s hit, ‘Some Days<\/a>‘, which was met with critical acclaim when it was released earlier this year, even as the critics were confused as to how to classify his sound. With ‘Stunna’ Dave leaves us in no doubt as to his allegiances; he’s teamed up with producer Onassis Morris, whose portfolio includes work with Trippie Redd, Lil Wayne, Kid Ink, and Tory Lanez, just to name a few. Dave has also earned for himself a spot on one of this summer’s hottest platforms – he’ll be on the Ikigai tour with Futuristic, the Arizona rapper who he counts as an influence and forerunner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Dave Luv has chosen a young master to shoot the music video for ‘Stunna’. Nicholas Jandora knows what’s what when it comes to hip hop visuals, and his track record is a mile long to prove it. Rich, colourful, and kaleidoscopic, we see Dave Luv at home alone, in a modest, yet stylish, house in the Los Angeles suburbs. The house and the garden are all perfectly in tune with him and the sound of his voice. The lights in the chandeliers blink when he speaks; the grass grows as he waters it, healthy and green, much to the confusion of his neighbours. Don’t be confused though. Dave Luv knows what he’s doing. He’s making a thing of beauty, and not only that, but he’s opening doors and gates for everyone, and letting us all come in and share what he’s got.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
