Taking inspiration from the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, and Martin Garrix’s ‘High On Life’, ASPEN ensures that ‘Sweetest Mistake’ doesn’t lack when it comes to catchy melodies, grooving rhythms, and burgeoning synths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Written and recorded at Studio 26, in Miami, a studio under the auspices of Interscope Records, ASPEN recalls that the experience was both enriching and dynamic, and describes the sessions with his writing partner and singer, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We began with an informal jam session, letting ideas flow naturally. Our creative synergy was immediate, with melodies and lyrics bouncing back and forth effortlessly. Our writing sessions were a fusion of spontaneity and structure. We often started with a thematic concept, sharing stories and emotions that we wanted to convey.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The influence of Avicii is evident from the very first note, with soaring synths giving way to energetic yet scant lyrics. The track is distinctly ASPEN’s own, however, with the vocalist grasping hold of the rhythms and allowing the music to take him away. The experience for the listener is similar, in that we are swept off by the deep emotions and rising tones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASPEN, a passionate music producer and DJ, has found his way to the fore of the Miami club scene, where his love of dance and dance pop has enabled him to carve a solid niche.
