The title of the track is a reference to a mathematical term, and BALKAN’s intent is to challenge the rapid expansion of AI and machine learning, by providing something that computers cannot – the human spirit. At just under 6 minutes long, ‘RULIAD’ is an interesting mix of industrial and Techno sounds, and listeners will find themselves deeply immersed before they know it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reminiscent of London-based Sonarpilot, BORIS BALKAN’s ‘RULIAD’ easily lends itself to imaginary flights of fantasy, and would be a great addition to any film set in a dystopian, or apocalyptic time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing his name from that of the primary antagonist in 1999 horror film, ‘The Ninth Gate’, BORIS BALKAN’s aim is to create dance tracks, with the mindset that, “everyone needs a house party”. With ‘RULIAD’, he’s certainly well and truly on his way to achieving that goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
