Originally written in 2011 and re-worked for his album, ‘Roger The Horse’, released earlier this year, ‘Be Somebody’ is a high-energy track that will have you dancing at the very least, and, at the most, re-assessing what you’re doing with your life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ron Brunk wrote ‘Be Somebody’ after a terrifying near-death experience, and feeling that he had to break his chains of fear. The song is inspiring and powerful, challenging the listener to do all the things they have on their bucket list, because you never know just how much or how little you’ve got left to do it in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with ‘Nobody’, Ron is joined by Paul Allen, best known for his work with Adele, Big & Rich, and Richard Marx, who not only produced, engineered, mixed, and edited the track, but also played guitar, bass, drums percussion, keyboards, synthesizer. Phew!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Be Somebody’ is a song of hope and urgency, a punk rock anthem that serves as a shot in the arm to get motivated. As Ron sings, \u201cNobody said it was gonna be easy\u2026 this road sometimes, it ain\u2019t so smooth, that\u2019s when ya gotta really find your groove\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘Be Somebody’ is as upbeat and inspirational as the song itself, following a woman as she challenges herself to get on with life and do all the stuff she’s previously put on the backburner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not always going to be easy – nobody said it would be – but we could all do with a little Ron Brunk inspiration in our lives, and according to him, we must continue to strive for greatness and Be the Somebody that no one else can be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
