Memories can often be like that magic time, the deep nostalgia we feel when we look back at our life can be as if it&#8217;s bathed in golden sunlight &#8211; all imperfections fade away, and it&#8217;s at its most beautiful.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Baltimore based singer-songwriter Bombardier Jones knows this all too well, and his single and video, &#8216;Golden Hour&#8217; takes a long and loving look back, reflecting on those things irretrievably lost. His lyrics are bittersweet and yet empathetic, his vocals reminiscent of Elvis Costello, and his guitar rock sound, is gauzy and ethereal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taken from his album, &#8216;Dare To Hope&#8217;, &#8216;Golden Hour&#8217;, is a ballad that declares the artist&#8217;s purpose, and while he can rock hard with the best of them, and does so on the rest of the long player, &#8216;Golden Hour&#8217; serves as a centrepiece to the entire project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The music video, directed by Philip Stevenson, is similarly thoughtful, and takes Bombadier Jones&#8217; lyrical imagery and adds it to Super-8 style footage, deepening the emotions already strongly amplified in the song.
