Elina’s introspective lyricism explores the delicate nuances of relationships, self-discovery, and the inexorable passage of time. In ‘I Don’t Know Love’, Elina’s vocals become a vessel for profound introspection, navigating the labyrinth of emotions with a grace that belies her debut status. The bluesy cadence of ‘Apologize’ marks a poignant farewell to a bygone love, the resonant piano notes echoing the weight of emotional liberation. This unapologetic candour persists through ‘Before We Fall Asleep’, where Elina’s haunting inquiries echo the uncertainties of human connection, layered amidst a musical backdrop adorned with electric guitar riffs and celestial harmonies.

At the heart of the album lies a celebration of the present moment, encapsulated in the soulful ballad ‘Sweet Night’. Elina’s delicate vocals are entwined with gentle pianos and soulful guitars, capturing the liberating essence of surrendering to the ephemeral joys of spontaneity.

‘Whatever Happens Now’ emerges as a captivating collection that has a lasting legacy for Elina’s burgeoning career. Her lyrical prowess, coupled with stripped-back melodies, creates a captivating sonic experience. While the album may lack moments of heightened crescendos, it stands as a testament to the potency of understated beauty.

Elina’s debut is a heartfelt ode to embracing life’s uncertainties with courage and grace, solidifying her presence as a promising artist in the musical tapestry. As we immerse ourselves in the serenade of ‘Whatever Happens Now’, we witness the birth of an artist destined to leave an indelible mark on the musical canvas.
