Guitarist Vasilios Bouras is a consummate musician and could easily do it on his own, but when he heard the vocals of Jessica Rendon, he knew he was onto something. Add the drumming expertise of Cody Hager, and the bass playing talent of Angel de Los Santos into the mix and you’ve got Honey Trap, a gorgeously seductive amalgam of musical perfection.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

‘Saint & Sinners’, the new single from Honey Trap, is a stunning example of what this band has to offer. Opening with a blues-infused riff from Bouras, underpinning Rendon’s steamy vocals, the song builds gradually until its zenith as a superb head-banger of a track. Written during the Covid-19 pandemic, the lyrics reflect how the pandemic affected us all – saints and sinners alike – putting us on an equal platform. The lyrics, and vocals in turn, go from gentleness to full-blown rage, a reflection of the inner turmoil we all feel in uncertain times, and did particularly feel back then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘Saints & Sinners’, directed by Tom Flynn, has been designed to create a chilling atmosphere around a masqueraded, occult wedding,. taking place in a New York cathedral. Interspersed between scenes of the band wailing and shredding, we see saints getting married to sinners, juxtaposed against an interpretation of Adam and Eve\u2019s temptation in the Garden Of Eden. And yes – those are actual snakes slithering up and down the band members’ limbs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
