UK producer Synyx returns, 3 years after his debut anthem, ‘Drop The Bomb’. His new single, ‘Ready For It’, is an emphatic up tempo house track that brings with it warm rhythms, resulting in a deeply immersive experience. ‘Ready For It’ is out now and is available to stream and download here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

‘Ready For It’ might have never been released if it hadn’t been for Synyx finding time to polish off the tracks he found on a long-forgotten hard drive. Originally developed from a royalty free vocal he found online, Synyx transformed it into a stunning chorus with an instantly memorable sound. The chords were built up into the resulting, “melodic, plucky vibe”, and mixed and mastered at his home studio, using a combination of Moog, Roland, analog synths, and digital plug-ins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real name James Mountstephens, Synyx’s stage name derives from the word “cynical”, therefore allowing us some insight into his artistic vision. He uses the project to give listeners a lens by which to view the complex, and often deceptive world we live in, and in so doing, provide a light in the otherwise consuming darkness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While he clearly takes inspiration from the likes of Deadmau5\u00a0and\u00a0Adam\u00a0K, Synyx goes even further, by imbuing his sound with the mysterious symbolism. His logo features an ape, set within a pyramid, and in his words, it “beckons us to explore the inner dimensions of our consciousness”, unlocking the potential within, such as meditation, and interdimensional exploration. The pyramid is symbolic of the “unity of opposing forces and the pursuit of higher truths”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The intricate symbolism is to be found in every particle of Synyx’s music, and serves as an open invitation to anyone who likewise shares his love of cynicism, and his search for truth and enlightenment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
