Out of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Starla G is an indigenous musician, mechanic, and firefighter, whose latest album, ‘Supernova Phoenix Rise’ will take listeners on a beautiful ride through her relatable personal experiences. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A rousing mix of Pop, Hip-Hop, and EDM across 11 tracks, ‘Supernova Phoenix Rise’ has something for everyone, as Starla G shares her journey of resilience, self-worth, and forging her identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening with the 60s girl-band feel track, ‘Rather Die Alone’, then moving on to the choral ‘Keep My Peace’, Starla G shows in just two tracks how versatile she is. With stunningly rich vocals and a bold and empowering style, she reflects the talent revealed by the support of both her parents and her choir teacher, Mr Arrellanes. Starla G’s roots are in indigenous music, but she additionally blends this with reggae, hip hop, and electronic music to craft her own distinctive sound. Her emotive, powerful sound gives the listener a very good idea as to why she cites Lady Gaga as one of her inspirations. In fact, this is reflected in track 3, which is even called ‘Lady’. Opening with ethereal synths, Starla G commences to lay out her life goals; she’s not going to take any rubbish from anyone, and she encourages everyone who listens to find their own peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final track, ‘To Be Continued’, is possibly the best on what is an incredible album, and leaves the listener wanting more. With strong and impassioned vocals, Starla G promises us we’ve not seen the end of her – and we can’t wait to hear more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
