Regular readers of Essentially Pop will be familiar with The Dead Daisies, as we have written about them many times before. Now they’re gearing up to do what they do best – perform live – and to get everyone in the mood for tour, they’ve released an awesome, powerful, and fully-rocking cover of WHITESNAKE’s ‘Slide It In’.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Three members of The Dead Daisies, Brian Tichy, Michael Devin, and guitarist Doug Aldrich, are all former members of WHITESNAKE, so it was a no-brainer to cover one of their songs. Speaking of the track, the band said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As THE DAISIES have done in the past with other great songs, this is our ‘Tip Of The Hat’ to the legendary David Coverdale & WHITESNAKE. We can’t wait to play it live at our upcoming shows!”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video which accompanies ‘Slide It In’ was filmed at the band’s rehearsal space, but that’s not to say they’re not bringing all the power and intensity of a live performance – they’re also seen rocking out in front of bright lights, and visuals that are just as colourful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
