Out today, ‘For A While’ is the new single from Eduardo. The artist, who was born in Lima, Peru, and is currently based in the US, is gaining a reputation around the world for his wistful acoustic pop music, which draws inspiration from classic rock right through to the masterpieces he learned while studying for his Master’s Degree in Literature.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

‘For A While’, from his upcoming album, ‘Cruising A Melody’, set for release on September 22, features laid back vocals set against a pleasing guitar and drums instrumental. It’s a song about an artist who is having problems trying to write a song. He’s trying and failing to think of the next verse: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another beat another rhyme
Another silly little lullaby
Another place to take my mind
For a while<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But then he appeals to someone to help him – whether this is a real other person or just another aspect of his self, is not clear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excuse me sir
I need your help
Could you write this for me, I\u2019ll never tell
Just you know that
I will owe you the whole world<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, he’s got it sorted, and effectively, he’s come up with an incredibly witty and indeed, inspirational song to anyone who’s had problems coming up with the next line, and it just goes to show that you should write down whatever thoughts come to mind, because that might be your next song right there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s fitting that a song from an album called ‘Cruising A Melody’ should come from an artist who has honed his craft by travelling and performing across the US. Eduardo has previously released two albums to high praise, as well as a live in-studio performance. His 2018 EP, ‘Rusty Strings’, garnered Eduardo a nomination from Toronto’s Independent Music Awards, and served as his first major breakthrough as a musical artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
