Last week, on the 11th of August, up-and-coming funky singer Fox Jackson released his latest single, the feel-good track \u2018Glimpses\u2019. This is Jackson\u2019s first track of 2023, following up his double-sided releases \u2018Funky Baby\u2019 and \u2018Anything For You\u2019 in 2022, and was most certainly worth the wait, as the English artist has worked hard to create a brilliant new summer anthem for anyone to enjoy.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Jackson has been enveloped in music and entertainment for as long as he can remember, starting out at a very young age. His first experience in the entertainment industry came when he was just 11, getting the title role in \u2018Billy Elliott: The Musical\u2019. This had a great influence on his career – the time he spent on stage had him yearning for more, and after filling out his acting portfolio, he ended up venturing into his true calling in life – crafting and performing his own style of music. Jackson debuted at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the single \u2018Behind Closed Doors\u2019, and has been on the rise ever since, with \u2018Glimpses\u2019 embodying that rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The song doesn\u2019t conform to any single genre or style, but is best described as a fresh, funky mix, with a colourful, upbeat instrumental, a brilliant vocal performance from Jackson (as always) and awesome lyrics full of small details that bring the song to life. These different elements of the song combine to create the perfect summer mix, discussing topics like relationships, love and life\u2019s endless possibilities.
