Famous Canadian pop songstress Carly Rae Jepsen announced the release of \u2018The Loveliest Time\u2019 earlier this month, as a follow up to her previous work, \u2018The Loneliest Time\u2019. Today, the long awaited album has finally hit streaming platforms for audiences to listen to & enjoy. Preceded by the single \u2018Shy Boy\u2019, the album has already been received incredibly psotifely in its short time of release, with fans and critics describing it as some of Jepsen\u2019s bedt and most passionate work yet.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Jepsen has been big on pop music since she was young, performing in musical theatre in secondary school, among other things. Her career began shortly after graduating from the Canadian College of Performing Arts in 2005, where she started writing her own songs. In 2007, Jepsen auditioned for Canadian Idol, where her performance gained her national attention, and got her a deal with 604 Records, the label where she released her debut album, \u2018Tug Of War\u2019, in June 2008. Now a fifteen-year veteran of the music industry, Jepsen has seen her fair share of highs and lows throughout her career, which she discusses on both \u2018The Loneliest Time\u2019, and her newest work, \u2018The Loveliest Time\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first impression of the album we got from \u2018Shy Boy\u2019 was that the album would be more upbeat than \u2018The Loneliest Time\u2019 – a theme that shows itself through the thirteen-track LP. \u2018The Loveliest Time\u2019 makes you want to dance more than anything else, which can be attributed to producers Rostam Batmanglij and James Ford working on the album, giving it more of an energetic feel compared to \u2018The Loneliest Time\u2019. This is some of Jepsen\u2019s best work of her career, and definitely worth a listen through the links below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
