While he&#8217;s probably classed as a &#8220;new&#8221; artist, the 50 year old Miller had moderate success with his band, The Reach, back in the 1990s, before taking a 20 plus year hiatus due to untreated clinical depression, writer&#8217;s block, and, in his words, &#8220;perhaps a few too many gin and tonics&#8221;.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A chance meeting with Marty Willson-Piper, a former long time member of  seminal Australian band The Church, set Miller back on his musical path, with Willson-Piper agreeing to act as his mentor and collaborator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Covid-19 Pandemic gave Miller, like many other musicians, the opportunity to work on his sound, and he resurrected his home studio, where he created an album&#8217;s worth of original tracks, naming the project Blueburst, after the finish on his favourite guitar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;Senseless&#8217; follows on from March&#8217;s release of &#8216;Vanish&#8217;, and comes ahead of the release of the album, &#8216;Significance&#8217;, later this year.  A dreamy, guitar-led alt-rock piece, &#8216;Senseless&#8217; taps into the emotions experienced by Miller as he fights his demons; he&#8217;s not beaten yet. Soft lead vocals with gorgeous harmonies, the influence of Willson-Piper is evident in the sound and, we hope, a long-lasting collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;Senseless&#8217; is out now and available to stream and download <a href=\"https:\/\/ads.blueburst.band\/senseless\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.
