Now, it\u2019s being re-released on vinyl and includes a wide breadth of new music that wasn\u2019t included on the original release, including music from their 2017 release, \u2018World Be Gone\u2019, and other modern releases from the duo. The four-sided double disc vinyl will include 20 songs that cover the duo\u2019s near 40 years of music production, and follows up their experimental album \u2018Day-Glo (Based on a True Story)\u2019.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Andy Bell and Vince Clarke have a rich history outside of their work together. Clarke was first inspired to make electronic music by the band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) and had several different ventures with other artists, including, but not limited to Depeche Mode, Yazoo and The Assembly. Then, in 1985, he placed an ad for singers in <em>Melody Maker<\/em> magazine, and Bell was one of the singers who applied. They formed Erasure, and nearly 40 years later, they\u2019re still releasing projects under the same name; including this re-release of \u2018Always\u2019. Judging by the release of \u2018Day-Glo\u2019, they\u2019re not stopping any time soon, either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As previously mentioned, the double disc vinyl will include 20 songs from Erasure\u2019s colossal library of music. Coming out on August 18th, it will include hits like \u2018Who Needs Love Like That\u2019, \u2018Blue Savannah\u2019 and \u2018A Little Respect\u2019, among others. The listener can expect exactly what Erasure has delivered for the past half-century; Bell\u2019s soulful vocals and Clarke\u2019s catchy beats combine to form infectious electro pop that sticks in your brain even after you stop listening.
