I first came across British rock band The Wild Things when they popped up on my TikTok<\/a> FYP earlier this year, and their catchy songs and fun attitude got them an instant follow from me. Fronted by Sydney Rae White, who you may recognize from her starring role in the hit Netflix\/BBC show \u2018Uncle\u2019, the band are currently playing support for the legendary US glam rock band, KISS, but have announced they will be headlining their own tour across the UK later this year.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In the last year, The Wild Things have played at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including Madison Square Garden (where they played support for The Who), The Royal Albert Hall, Manchester AO Arena, The MGM Vegas, and The Kiss Kruise. As well as The Who and KISS, they’ve shared the stage with Pearl Jam, and many many more world class bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Only Attraction\u2019, \u2018Lay On, Take Off\u2019, \u2018Heaven Knows\u2019 & \u2018Paradise\u2019, their most recent single, are all taken from The Wild Things’ upcoming second album \u2018Afterglow\u2019, and have met with worldwide acclaim. These songs have been featured across a range of streaming playlists worldwide, and they’ve received significant radio play from Virgin FM and BBC Radio 2, as well as being championed by Elton John on his Apple Music show \u2018Rocket Hour\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wild Things have recently completed work on their second album, \u2018Afterglow\u2019, which was co-produced by none other than The Who’s Pete Townshend. Additionally, Townshend features across several tracks as either a writer or performer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rolling Stone Magazine<\/a> wrote an article on the band discussing their recent successes, and were given the world premieres of their last two releases.

The Wild Things have made more than a splash across the world over the last year, with their songs charting in Mexico, Chile, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Singapore, Luxembourg, and Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans in the UK can see The Wild Things perform tomorrow night, July 5, at London’s O2, supporting KISS in their ‘End Of The Road’ tour. There’ll be further opportunities this tour, with performances at Manchester’s AO Arena on Friday, July 7, and The OVO Hydro, in Glasgow, on Saturday July 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
