Our whistle was certainly whetted with ‘Drum City’, and so we present yet another track and video from the title track of Appice Perdomo Project’s album, ‘Running Up That Hill’. It’s a fully instrumental reworking of the Kate Bush classic, with a “Stranger Things” twist to the music video. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Perdomo makes his guitar sing, while not losing any of Kate’s emotional phrasing and delivery. Meanwhile Carmine Appice releases horses from his drums, and we can almost see their pounding hooves as they make their way up the hill. The music video accompanying the track features a pulsating moon, ominous and menacing as it hovers over a sinister blue, and at times red background. Otherworldly incantations are cast, summoning who knows what from where, and an eerie female figure rises from the ground, much like in the most recent season of ‘Stranger Things’. It’s spooky, it’s scary, but all the while Carmine Appice and Fernando Perdomo keep up the pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
