Released on March 13, ‘Hate Me’, from Henrik, is a melancholic track about splitting up with someone you’re still in love with – and yet you know it’s for the best for everyone.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Moving and somewhat retro in vibe, calling to mind the sound of The Beatles, and Oasis, ‘Hate Me’ is a collaboration between Henrik and composer and producer, Mikey Gormley. Not only did Gormley supply his creative genius, but he also contributed as composer and lyricist, as well as played acoustic guitar and keyboards. Additionally, the track was mixed by Joseph Wander, and mastered by Thomas Waterman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henrik’s vocals are sublime; poignant and beautiful, the perfect companion to the instrumental melodies. ‘Hate Me’ is Henrik’s second release, following last year’s ‘Surreal’, which was also a collaboration with Gormley. Henrik has the sort of voice that will appeal to pop music fans, and with his songs covering relatable subjects, he’s sure to be a hit, and we look forward to the music he releases in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henrik McLean is still only 17 years old, and yet he’s achieved more than many of us will in a lifetime. A British national who was born in Abu Dhabi, outside of music he is a professional gamer for Guild Esports PLC, and has won the Fortnite Championship Series 3 times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
