‘To Supreme’ is the latest track from Will Rainier, known for his solo work, his work with his band, Will Rainier and the Pines, and his work as part of duo Stuporhero, with his wife Jen.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

‘To Supreme’ is the first drop from Will’s upcoming new album, ‘Wobble In The Moon’, which is set for release on June 30, via Basement Tape Records. It’s laid back, languid, almost soporific; guitars work well against gentle percussion, horns, and synths. Will’s voice is soothing and stress-free. The listener feels as though we’re going for a stroll with the singer, and this vibe continues when we watch the music video, where Will actually *is* going for a walk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His choice of walking locations aren’t necessarily the sorts of places one would immediately consider as suitable places to visit. Will Rainier says that ‘To Supreme’ is an ode to the dark divey bars where he’s found solace over the years. Perhaps we’re reading too much into it, but to us it feels more like an homage to those places where he feels at home. Filmed in Seattle & Lopez Island, Washington, Will walks in the park, and woodland, but he also visits what appears to be an oil refinery, seedy neighbourhoods, and other industrial locations. All in all however these are what goes into a community, places that make a home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
