Following our review of Ivan The Greatness’s single, ‘Power2030<\/a>‘ last month, we caught up with the man himself and spoke to him about his life, his music, gaming, and Michael Jackson. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Hi Ivan, thanks for speaking to us! First of all, are you a gamer? And if so, how do you think you\u2019d do playing the game that\u2019s featured in the video for your new single, \u2018Power2030\u2019?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I play video games from time to time\u2026. COD, GTA, Madden\u2026. The norm!! It\u2019s not hard for me to pick up the objective of games and how to play them. I\u2019d give myself a 10\/10 with this one especially since I would be the main character and the creator of the game!! Ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who came up for the concept for the video? Were there any other ideas that had been considered, and if so what were they?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating the video took a lot of thought and we did our best to execute what we saw in our brains. My dad, Paul Warner, and I spent a lot time, hard work, and dedication on this project, and I\u2019m so proud of how it turned out!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you were a superhero what would you want to be your superpower and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would be a healer. I love to help. And I feel like healing is the strongest form of help. Whether it\u2019s physically, mentally, or emotionally. It\u2019s just the way I was raised. It\u2019s always been a part of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You first came to fame when you were 11, singing on the Ellen Show. You\u2019ve essentially been in music all your life. Is there anything else you might to have liked doing instead?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, being on the Ellen DeGeneres Show was amazing and is definitely a highlight to put in the books but that was just the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being in Joyful Noise traveling the world as Ivan Kelley and performing as one of my idols, Michael Jackson, meeting fans and making friends in the industry and outside the industry brings a lot of joy to what I do when I\u2019m not creating, so music is definitely my number one. But I do dabble in art and fashion, and we take family time to do DIY projects from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are the top 3 artists on your \u201cgo-to\u201d playlist, and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A. My 3 top right now would have to be Ye, Drake, and Ledgen Yae \u201cchangin\u201d from time to time. That\u2019s mostly my gym playlist; other than that, I don\u2019t really listen to the radio or other artists. Just to try and keep my thought and creativity original.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What piece of advice have you been given in your life that you\u2019ve always remembered and that drives you on?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One piece of advice that I\u2019ve been given is that what works for one may not work for the other so stay original and keep grinding one hundred percent. Never give up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s next for Ivan The Greatness? What can fans expect?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can expect Ivan the Greatness\u2019s music playing and this face on every screen you can think of! Live performances and more music!  My single \u201cPower2030\u201d is off of my upcoming album Unbreakable<\/em> which is an album for everyone! It takes you through time and space\u2026 from the \u201850s to the future. I\u2019ll be at The Republic Bank Of Performing Arts in New Jersey on May 19th opening for The Invincible Tour as well so come out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, what question do you wish someone would ask you in an interview, but nobody ever does?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s a good one. A lot of time people ask me about what I do. But not about who I am. I\u2019m a real chill person with a lot of dreams that I\u2019m work toward making come true . Everything that I do is a stepping stone to the next thing and every step is bigger than the last so stay turned!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
