Sp8ce Owl follows up his 2021 album, ‘A Room With No Walls’, and the 2022 EP, ‘Echoes From The Ether’, with his new long-player, ‘The Other Side Of The Atlantic’. The latest atmospheric track from that release, ‘The Underside Of Yesterday’, is designed to intrigue the listener, and keep them on the edge of seat, wondering, where, exactly, are we being taken?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The track is paired with a video that has been directed by Sp8ce Owl himself, alongside Michael Perlmutter. Sp8ce Owl, real name Joseph Meyers, takes us to Paris, where we visit iconic locations around the City of Love. Scenes of modern-day life are intercut with footage of a man who is falling slowly, seemingly helplessly, against a white background. Additional close-up portraits, and wide-shots of olden day Paris are interspersed throughout. As the video draws to an end, we see a modern-day woman, moving along a ledge, with the Eiffel Tower in the background, as the sun starts to set. What does it all mean? We’re never told exactly. But what do we know about life anyway?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
