Drawing from musical roots that include inspiration from the likes of Faith No More, Alice In Chains, and AFI, the quintet have a punchy signature sound that exemplifies their desire to scorch the earth wherever their feet may rest.

The five track collection includes a raucous cover of the Jefferson Airplane classic, ‘White Rabbit’, providing Modern Monsters with the perfect opportunity to put their stamp on a familiar track and introduce themselves to a wider audience.

The ‘Malice’ EP, which has already spawned the singles, ‘Road to Nowhere’, on February 14, and ‘Prism’, on March 10, sees Modern Monsters address a range of societal issues, including unchecked power, two-part justice systems, distractions from introspection and perilous love. The EP is a hard rocking release that will nonetheless appeal to all listeners who enjoy great music, and who also think there’s a lot more to life than just existing. Modern Monsters don’t set out to impress anyone, but rather their aim is to disrupt the system – and they’re having a great time on the way.
