Five piece boyband Here At Last are set to become your newest faves! Currently house-sharing in Reading, England, they’ve gone from zero to hero in a short couple of years, by way of TikTok, where they are are one of the biggest bands on the app. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Comprising Zach Loizou<\/a> (from London), Tommy Lyon<\/a> (from Exeter), Pedro Santos<\/a> (from Portugal), James Thomas<\/a> (from Leyland) and Ryan Burns<\/a> (from North Wales), they had all been sharing covers and videos online by themselves, but had already been in discussions to meet up and form a band – when the Covid 19 Pandemic and lockdown struck. The five lads decided to take a massive leap of faith and move in together so they could give it their best shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still only teenagers, this was a huge step, and and they also needed to pay the rent. They appealed to their fans to help them find jobs, and also started busking across the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of the busking and TikTok, the band visit schools during the week, performing and educating students about the importance of mental health (tying in with charity Young Minds). For an aspiring pop act, the absence of major label backing, a pop Svengali, or TV talent show breakthrough has traditionally meant a long, hard road to nowhere, but Here At Last are breaking that traditional mould with their growing army of fans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, with 3 million followers on TikTok, as well as 100 million likes on their videos, they have released the official music video for their new single, ‘Bloodshot’, which can be watched here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video was put together using both official footage and clips from their fans who attended their sold out shows at Shepherd\u2019s Bush Empire and Manchester Club Academy and The Exchange in Bristol last month. The band have also just announced their debut EP, ‘EP1’, which will be released on 26th May, and can be pre-ordered here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about the ‘Bloodshot video’, Here At Last said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis bloodshot video was made for the fans by the fans. We have a few snippets of content that fans took whilst being at the show, so we\u2019ve gathered them and added it to our music video! Bloodshot was a very interesting project; being so different to our previous releases, we had to do something a little more \u201cout of the box\u201d. We really enjoyed the music video to \u2018Bloodshot\u2019 and we know the HALOs are excited to see themselves being included in it. As we say, we could never have done it without them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

‘Bloodshot’ follows on from ‘Happy<\/a>‘, which has had over 6 million streams on Spotify and over 280,000 creations on TikTok, and ‘Tongue<\/a>‘, which has garnered more than a million streams. On the day of release, ‘Bloodshot’ was added to Spotify\u2019s New Music Friday and Apple\u2019s New Music Daily playlists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite being unsigned, their previous songs have received phenomenal support including from Spotify and Apple where they have been added to many playlists globally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have had hundreds of plays across radio including at Radio 1 where they have had 12 plays and were picked as Mollie King\u2019s Best New Pop. They have also been featured on Sunday Brunch, they have performed twice on CBBC\u2019s Saturday Mash-Up and they have also been mentioned within a storyline in Channel 4\u2019s Hollyoaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
