Released 19 February, ‘Look Into The Stars’ is the new album from London artist, Sarah E Jackson. An ambient and ethereal record, it’s been created by layering MIDI tracks and complementing them with piano and keyboards, powerful 808 lines, and percussions. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The ten track album, which opens with the title track, makes good use of spacey effects, with Sarah E Jackson’s vocals floating ethereally above the instrumentals. Reverb and other alternative effects are put to good use, particularly in the afore-mentioned title track and also track 7, ‘When The Sun Goes Down’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah E Jackson created the album in her bedroom, using her Mac computer and keyboards. Speaking of the writing process, she says, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Music is my therapy, I sit there and play the notes on my keyboard, then put the lyrics to the songs.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Sarah’s inspiration comes from many sources, particularly personal ones such as her own experiences in life, as well as friends, and the planet itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah E Jackson has been writing music since 1991, and her love for the art began when she was 7, listening to a transistor radio. She first became interested in music production from listening to BBC Radio 6 DJ, Dave Pearce, who used to present the programme “Dance Music”, back in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
