Sophie Ellis-Bextor has announced a special album release show at Lafayette in London on 30th June, in celebration of her recently announced new album \u2018HANA\u2019, out 2nd June on Cooking Vinyl.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for the show will go on-sale Friday 3rd March from Ticketmaster.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sophie recently released the first taste of the album, the new single \u2018Breaking The Circle\u2019<\/a>, which along with the entirety of \u2018HANA\u2019, was made with long-time collaborator and friend Ed Harcourt. It is their third in a trilogy of records, with each stemming around the thematic frame of a location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration began in 2014 with the critically and commercially successful \u2018Wanderlust\u2019, which was inspired by Eastern Europe, and continued in 2016 with \u2018Familia\u2019, inspired by Latin America. New album \u2018HANA\u2019, which Harcourt describes as \u201ckaleidoscopic joy\u201d, is inspired by East Asia and Sophie\u2019s first trip to Japan pre-pandemic in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sophie recently performed \u2018Breaking The Circle\u2019 with the BBC Concert Orchestra<\/a> as part of BBC Radio 2\u2019s Piano Room Month, as well as one of her classic tracks and a Madonna cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later this year Sophie will also once again bring her Kitchen Disco live show to audiences in the UK with her Christmas Kitchen Disco tour. This follows on from her much-loved Kitchen Disco parties shared on Instagram over lockdown. Sophie has since released two albums \u2018 Songs from the Kitchen Disco\u2019 and \u2018Sophie Ellis Bextor\u2019s Kitchen Disco: Live from the London Palladium\u2019, which followed her sold out Kitchen Disco live tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
