Jekalyn Carr returns with her new single, ‘I Believe God’. The Gospel artist has become a firm favourite<\/a> of ours here at Essentially Pop over the past few years.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The heavens declare the glory of God – but we can’t accurately depict what heaven looks like, as mere mortals, as it is God’s alone. Jekalyn Carr knows this all too well, but she’s willing to declare her faith, and this is captured in her new single. ‘I Believe God’ is a testimony to the healing power of that faith, and the music video that comes with it gives a glimpse of what heaven may well be like. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jekalyn’s singing is fiery, inspired, and powerful, and she never loses sight of the main idea, and instead allows her faith to speak through her. Jekalyn Carr assures us that God will always be there for those who follow his voice, and believe in Him. This is reinforced by the video, directed by Allen Carr. Jekalyn looks almost halfway to heaven, as she is dressed in gold, hovering mid-air on a white staircase. A choir surrounds her, and as she sings their angelic voices back her up beautifully.
