We’ve been on the gloryBots<\/a> journey right from the start, and we’re happy to continue with their new single, ‘Hot Panic’. Taken from their upcoming album, ‘Radiation Skies’, the upbeat track has a retro vibe with modern production values.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The side project of Seattle-based artist Jalal Andre, he’s now been joined by multi-instrumentalist Ilya Krisa, and Don Gunn, who was originally brought in to mix the recordings, but stayed on when gloryBots needed a new man on the drums. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening with simple guitar chords, ‘Hot Panic’ is quickly joined by both the drums and vocals, and you get the feeling that this is what gloryBots is all about – a team who work well together and who don’t want anyone to get more “glory” – as it were – than anyone else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can certainly hear Gunn’s work in ‘Hot Panic’ – but that’s not to lessen the contributions of Andre and Krisa. Clearly if it wasn’t for their vocals and instrumentation it would be very bare indeed. But I guess what I’m trying to say is that all parts of the track play their role and none is given more importance than the rest – they all work together to make ‘Hot Panic’ a song that you will want to replay straight away…and do it over and over again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
