The five members of KILLCODE, from New York City, consider Rock music to be much more than just a hobby or an art form – to them it’s an actual way of life, and they demonstrate this perfectly in the video for their latest release, ‘Let’s Get Back To Rock N’ Roll’.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

KILLCODE don’t have to declare it but they are already acknowledged kings of the New York Underground scene, and viewed as tireless champions of rock music at its most powerful. They’ve shared the stage with the likes of Rammstein, KISS, Aerosmith, Five Finger Death Punch, Twisted Sister, Queensryche, Alter Bridge and Airbourne, as well as sold out their own headlining shows at places in NYC as well known as the Bowery Ballroom, and the Gramercy Theater. On top of that, they’ve released two albums and a slew of rambunctious EPs, to great acclaim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their unique blend of Southern rock, metal, blues, and pure Downtown grit has seen them ply their wares across the seas as well, where they’ve appeared at the Bang Your Head Festival in Germany, Rockfest Barcelona in Spain, Hell and Heaven Fest in Mexico, Riverside Aarburg in Switzerland and many more worldwide. No matter where they go, you can be sure that KILLCODE have fans both old and new, clamouring to hear more of their good time rock and roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While on the surface ‘Let’s Get Back To Rock N’ Roll’ seems like it might merely be an anthem for traditional rock fans, it’s far more complex than that, with intricate interplay between guitarists Chas and DC Gonzalez, and bass player Bobby Flores and drummer Rob Noxious ensuring the groove is maintained. Add to the mix singer Tom Morrissey, and you have a quintet whose focus is on drawing the listeners in, almost hypnotically, while always allowing the song room to breathe. All in all they play with the power and passion that their fans have come to know and love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘Let’s Get Back To Rock N’ Roll’, directed by David Swajeski, is a raucous affair that firmly places KILLCODE in the city that never sleeps. We get great aerial footage of NYC at its most dramatic, but it’s only when we see KILLCODE in action, in the clubs and bars, and their hordes of leather-clad rocker fans being driven into a rock-fuelled frenzy, that the true energy of the clip is revealed. All in all, it’s a lot of fun and a great video that all true rock fans will love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
