Picture this: Rafaela was sitting on the sofa with her husband one Saturday morning, having coffee and just chatting. Suddenly she’s overwhelmed by deep emotion and has to write it down – the result is her new single, ‘Loved By You’.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The song, and accompanying music video, tell the story of that deep and all-consuming love experienced when you know you’ve found your special someone. Rafaela reveals it all in her lyrics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘Loved By You’ opens with Rafaela gazing out on the ocean, contemplative. This is interspersed with clips of her singing on a soundstage, as well as clips of a piano playing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The song draws much from the classic 80s pop ballads, but adds a more contemporary pop sound, including soaring guitars, and a moving backing vocal. While it’s not strictly a Christmas song, ‘it ‘Loved By You’ definitely taps into the cosy vibes we all crave this time of year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rafaela Cabreja started out as a tv producer and reporter, but is now carving her own path through music. Originally from Dominican Republic, she now makes her home in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
