Pure Order are unique when it comes to unadulterated lyricism and striking hip hop music. The duo, God’s Gift, and Nemesis, from Oxnard California, have combined their musical talents, and aim to incorporate love and innovation in all their projects, to move forward and give a voice to those who have none. Nevertheless, their words are sharp and sincere, and cut right to the bone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Sons Of Belial’ is aimed at waking people up, to open their eyes to what is around them, and make them think more clearly about what they’re being fed, rather than blindly accepting what the media feeds us, and the ever readily available stream of information from digital technology. The backing instrumental from fellow Oxnard artist, Oh No, is far more complex than a usual trap track, and Nemesis’s vocals are haunting and eerie, as she and God’s Gift each spit bars that call things as they are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video for ‘Sons Of Belial’ sees Pure Order not wanting to follow the crowd. Society is seen as hordes of hypnotised citizens, while clips are interspersed outlining issues of greed, and gun violence. The main message of the song is that, no matter who you are, once you know the truth, it will set you free, and empower you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
