‘Sucked at Love’ is a gorgeous blend of styles, and sees Savoi take his favourite elements of modern pop, R&B, and hip hop, and blend them with his EDM producing skills. A breakup song that started out as a melody, ‘Sucked at Love’ has a melancholy vibe that tugs at the heartstrings, while at the same time conveying a summer vibe. There’s some distinct Australian parts to the lyrics – references to driving on the freeway, not being able to “hack” a relationship, and the title itself brings a smile to my face as an Aussie ex-pat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Sucked at Love’ has a punchy rhythm, the guitar and percussive elements combining to get your feet tapping. Savoi picked up the guitar after being inspired by the melodies of Post Malone and Dominic Fyke, and set out on a solo career. His EDM experience served him well, and he was able to write, produce, and mix ‘Sucked at Love’ by himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although he’s new to pop, Savoi has nonetheless been working as an EDM producer for the past 7 years, and ‘Next To You’, which saw him feature with LDRU, reached gold status on Australia’s ARIA charts. Other releases, including ‘On My Side’, and ‘Chase It’, released with WRLD, have so far amassed an incredible 26 million streams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Savoi has performed at Australian music festivals, including\u00a0Splendour in The Grass\u00a0and\u00a0Listen Out Festival, where he’s demonstrated his talent for live performance. he is set to release a track with UK producer\u00a0Lvther\u00a0later this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
