We’ve been following Alicia G’s career for almost a year now<\/a>, and seen her go from strength to strength. We spoke to her last December<\/a>, but a lot has gone on since then, so we hit her up with some more questions, and we’re sure you’ll agree, she’s still on that rocket to the stars!<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Hi Alicia! Thanks for speaking to us again! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve been following your career for a while now, and it\u2019s really quite clear that you put the grind in! What motivates you to keep going? What spurs you on?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What motivates me to keep me going is my amazing Fanbase. They are truly one in 1 million I am so thankful for each and everyone of them. I call my fans the AGARMY! Our motto is “Boom Boom Baby”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re not afraid to try different genres for your music, and your latest single, \u2018GUM\u2019 sees you try your hand at hip hop \u2013 and do it really well. Is there any musical style you\u2019ve tried and said, \u201cnope, not going there\u201d or are you game for all of them? What makes you choose each style?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am fearless when it comes to different styles of music, whenever I feel for that song bring it, the sky’s the limit. There has been no musical style I\u2019ve tried and said no to. What makes me choose each style depends on the vision I have for each song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We spoke with you back in December, and we asked you then what question you wish someone would ask you in an interview, but nobody ever does, and your question was, \u201cWhat inspires you to keep going and never stop?\u201d Almost a year since then, are you still motivated by positivity? Has anything changed in your life for the better or worse, and what lessons have you learned in the past year that have helped you to grow?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes I absolutely love that question, with the power of positivity I can be, do or achieve anything! Yes I am still motivated by positivity and I am as positive as ever!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another thing that inspires me and motivates me in life are my fans they keep me going! I love my fans The Alicia G Army (AGArmy) Boom Boom Baby! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something that has changed in my life for the better was I became a full-time live streamer. I have been for over four years now. I switched to a new app, and I was recently contracted on the live streaming app called MICO. I absolutely love it! I am a MICO influencer I have my own agency on the app where I also have hosts (broadcasters) working under me. I am enjoying every moment of it, it has been very rewarding.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some lessons that I have learned over the past year is, do not listen to negativity and don\u2019t listen to other people. Keep focused on your dream and let no one else discourage you from it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video for \u2018GUM\u2019 reminded me of the film, \u2018A League Of Their Own\u2019 \u2013 have you considered looking to acting as a career, or is it music all the way?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I absolutely love acting and I love music if the opportunity approaches for acting I gladly would be all for it. I have done some acting in the past from a reality TV show that I starred in, as well as short films and plays. I am very versatile and love performing on stage, whether it be on stage for a music concert or on a film set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s next on the horizon for you, and what can fans expect?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My fans can expect, the sky\u2019s the limits! Going to be working on more new songs and along with new music videos! I love my fans The Alicia G Army (AGArmy) Boom Boom Baby!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we\u2019ll ask you once more, because you might have a different one \u2013 what question do you wish someone would ask you in an interview, but nobody ever does \u2013 and what\u2019s the answer to that question?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A question that no interview has ever asked me is why have I not ever been signed by a label\u2026 and the answer to that question I never been shopped to a label ever this lifetime. I always want to be – no one has ever pushed me to the next level. Oh music label where are you? I\u2019m right here and my name is Alicia G! Boom Boom Baby!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
