We’ve long covered Sp8ce Owl<\/a>‘s music, his ethereal sound, that somehow manages to transcend dimensions, both of time and space, really hits the spot with us. His new single, ‘Voices In My Head’ however, takes a slightly different path to his previous releases, and instead of transporting us to a distant world, instead brings us closer to home.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It’s hard to believe that Sp8ce Owl has only been releasing music since 2021, his tracks, ‘Digital Breathing’, ‘Miami 1987 (Earth 246)’, and ’70s Somewhere’ were released over a brief period, and allowed his listeners to step outside of their everyday lives and instead lose themselves in his evocative soundscapes. In this respect, ‘Voices In My Head’ is no different. He still utilises the EDM beats on which he’s made his name; but this time he also blends modern and historical, by using tribal music. Likewise, his music video is as bright, colourful, and thought-provoking as his previous clips, but this time there are people involved, rather than just landscapes or imagined scenery. Indigenous peoples, including Polynesians, Suomi, and North American First Nations people, dance to the music in what might equally be an act of celebration or worship. The diverse nature of the groups featured gives the viewer a glimpse into the beauty of humanity and music, and demonstrates the connection we all have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
