The artist, from the regional New South Wales city of Griffith, Australia, pays clear homage to the likes of Dua Lipa, and Tate Mcrae, and drew on the experience of her close friends when writing the song. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

An upbeat pop dance track, ‘Gaslighter’ sees CHRISTINA ISABELLA skilfully meld vengeful lyrics about a break-up with an incredibly catchy melody. The track, which was co-written and produced by Charlotte Adelle, is described by the artist as having been “a very fluent and quick write”, and we definitely feel it has all the characteristics of a top 40 hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHRISTINA ISABELLA has been writing songs from a very early age, saying that she had written heartbreaker hits from before she had even “held a boy’s hand”. Her single, ‘Falling’, made it onto the Top 40 Beatport Chart, alongside such greats as Dua Lipa, and Avicii, and received airplay on BBC Radio. With her new music however, CHRISTINA has moved into a more pop sound, which should nonetheless see her just as successful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Gaslighter’ opens powerfully with an almost pipe-organ synth sound, that continues throughout the song. While very definitely a pop song, there are still a lot of EDM elements that are discernible through headphones, as well as guitar, bass, and a drum beat that perfectly ties together all the elements into one cohesive whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
