Opening with dusty crackles and pops, the title track and album opener sounds every bit like a Kraftwerk record that’s been found and enjoyed once more. This is clearly no co-incidence, as ‘It Never Ends’ is an homage to the sounds of the 80s, with inspiration from Synthwave and Darkwave, as well as a touch or two of mainstream pop. Theoretical recorded the album on his home computer, and is clearly among the elite of bedroom producers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album cycles through quickly, with all tracks (apart from the nearly 4 and a half minutes, ‘Strange Oceans Pt. 2’) at around the 2 minute mark or shorter. Swirling synths and ambient melodies make the album a pleasant listen, and it could easily find its way onto a film or tv soundtrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theoretical started his musical journey in school, where he learned trombone. From there he learned how to produce, using GarageBand, and has moved on to producing LoFi and Vaporwave. Theoretical has taken elements from a range of different genres, but found himself in Synthwave; however, his experimentation ensures he is not limited to one particular style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
